NEW RELEASE! March 2017 Alonso Padron's Dimensions spans a wide array of styles, encompassing everything from rock, classical, jazz, and Latin, to funk, ambient, and folk. The music comprised on this CD is at times intimate, tender, and disarming, and other times majestic, cinematic, and epic. A wide spectrum of moods can be heard on this album, ranging from spirited, exuberant, and ebullient, to haunting, pensive, and mournful.

Alonso Padrón's Cycles is a collection of songs that ranges in styles from folk and pop to classical and New Age. The framework of many of these songs is comprised of acoustic guitar/vocal and acoustic piano/vocal or instrumental acoustic guitar or piano. Many of the songs are layered with textures of other instrumentation which serve to enhance and embellish the framework of the songs where it was deemed apt for those textures and embellishments. On this CD one can hear songs which are at times intimate and personal, and at other times ethereal and atmospheric. There is a range of moods heard in this music. It is uplifting, yet melancholic; wistful, yet dark; spritual, yet organic.

Alonso Padrón's Soledad is a CD of instrumental acoustic guitar. The music is a unique blend of Spanish, Latin, and classical influences. It combines the rhythms and harmony of Bossa Nova, Modern Flamenco, and Mexico, with melodies reminiscent of Baroque classical music. The influences heard on this CD range in everything from The Gipsy Kings, Antonio Carlos Jobim, and Beethoven to Manitas de Platas, Al Dimeloa, and Django Reinhardt. On the CD are three original pieces composed by Alonso Padrón and three remakes of standards from different musical genres. On many of the recordings of these songs, there is only acoustic guitar with percussion, giving it an authentic feel akin to the styles of music represented.
